EASTERN NIGHT · SUPPORT

A little help.
Then back to quiet.

Help with listening, subscriptions and your Eastern Night account.

How do I start?

On Tonight, choose a sound and listen directly, or begin an optional evening ritual. You can also choose a meditation or a bedtime story. Pause or skip the guidance whenever you prefer. Keep the volume comfortable.

How does the first 24 hours work?

In releases using the 24-hour experience, your first use starts a full day of access to sounds, stories and practices. Reopening the app during that period does not end the experience. You can try it without signing in, and no subscription starts automatically.

After the 24 hours ends, a verified subscription is required to continue listening. An item already playing can finish normally. You can still open account and privacy controls, manage a subscription or restore a purchase. Signing in does not restart an existing account's experience. The app's introductory experience is separate from any store trial shown on the purchase screen.

How does the timer work?

Choose the listening time in the player. The sound fades gently at the end of its timer. Pause keeps the current position; changing the sound or timer starts a new listening period. Available listening features are included during the 24-hour experience and with a verified subscription after it ends.

Does it work offline?

Completed media downloads can be reused offline while your experience or verified membership is active. Online playback may use mobile data. Automatic-download settings and removal controls are available in the app. The operating system may remove cached files when storage is low or pause background downloads; reopen the app to continue. Interrupted files may need downloading again.

Sign-in, cloud sync, a new purchase, purchase restoration and cloud-account deletion require internet access. Reconnect to refresh subscription access after a renewal. A downloaded file does not create a permanent membership entitlement.

Do I need an account?

Apple or Google sign-in is optional where available. An account helps you retrieve that account's favorites, listening records and background settings on another device when you choose sync. Sign-in itself does not purchase a subscription.

If you have been provided with an Eastern Night username and password, open Your account and choose Sign in with username and password in a supported release. Enter those app credentials; this option does not use your Google or Apple password or require phone approval. It does not restart the introductory experience. Contact support if the provided account is unavailable.

What happens when I sync?

Choosing account sync sends favorites, listening records and background settings to the Eastern Night account service. Earlier records created without signing in are uploaded only when you choose to merge this device's earlier listening. Another account's records are not imported automatically. Morning reflections, bedtime plans, reminders and guided-program enrollment are not included in account sync in this release. See the privacy policy for the fields and deletion choices.

How do I manage membership?

Open membership in the app to see available plans. Prices, billing periods and any eligible store trial appear before you confirm. To restore a purchase, use the original Apple or Google Play store account. A new Eastern Night login alone does not prove a purchase.

Use Manage subscription to open your store's subscription settings. Signing out, resetting app data or deleting the Eastern Night account does not cancel billing. Manage Apple subscriptions or manage Google Play subscriptions.

Can I set a bedtime reminder?

Open Your bedtime plan, enter your target bedtime and save. Enable reminders only if you want them; notification permission is requested when needed. Reminders are scheduled on your device. Change the time or turn them off in the same screen, and reopen the app after changing time zones. Focus mode and system settings may delay or hide delivery.

Can I record how I felt in the morning?

In Journey, choose Rested, Okay or Tired, or skip. The summary counts actual entries and does not score sleep quality. The separate morning reminder is optional. Morning reflections stay on your device and are not part of account sync in this release.

Why has a listening night not appeared?

A night is recorded after at least five minutes of actual listening, which can be split across sounds. Paused time does not count. A listening night changes at 4 a.m. in the device's time zone; a continuous session belongs to the night on which it started. Very short sessions or an app force-close before a save can leave an incomplete record. These records measure playback, not sleep.

How does the guided program work?

Open 28 quiet evenings on Tonight or Journey and join when you are ready. Earlier listening does not count toward it. One small action accompanies each qualifying listening night, and missed days do not reset progress. The complete plan is available during the introductory experience or with membership. Weekly reflections use your listening records and are not sleep measurements.

The sound stopped

Check whether the timer ended or an audio device disconnected. Calls and other audio can interrupt playback. Open Eastern Night, reconnect headphones if needed and resume. If the introductory experience has ended, choose a subscription or restore an existing purchase.

What can I share?

Journey offers an optional text summary with a preview. Opening the share sheet does not publish it; you choose the destination and finish the action. External services apply their own policies.

How do I remove local data?

Use Delete listening history in Journey to clear local records. Reset app data clears this device's history, favorites, preferences and reminder settings. It stops playback and cancels scheduled reminders. This cannot be undone and does not delete a cloud account or cancel a store subscription.

Delete your Eastern Night account

In the app, open your account settings and choose Delete account. Confirm the action to remove the Eastern Night account, cloud favorites, synced listening records, background settings and sign-in sessions. Account deletion requires an internet connection. It does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; use the store links above to cancel separately.

If you cannot use the app, you can request account and associated-data deletion without reinstalling it. Email support@gettinyforge.com with the subject “Eastern Night account deletion.” Say that the request concerns Eastern Night and whether you used Apple, Google or a provided username. We will verify ownership and respond with the request status. Do not send a password, authentication code, identity token, private key or payment-card details.

The account profile, its cloud sync data and sessions are removed when deletion is processed. If Apple authorization cannot be revoked immediately because the provider is unavailable, an encrypted revocation credential and retry metadata remain only until that step succeeds. Store and billing-provider transaction records are handled separately under their rules. See the privacy policy for retention and contact details.
