Using Eastern Night

Eastern Night provides relaxation sounds and tools for a bedtime routine. It does not measure sleep, diagnose conditions or provide medical treatment. Use the app at a comfortable volume and only where it is safe to relax.

Your data and content

Your preferences and listening records remain on your device. You control optional sharing. Backups may contain local data. The app artwork and original synthesized sounds are licensed for personal use in the app. The three guqin recordings by Charlie Huang and our listening edits remain available under CC BY 2.5, including commercial copying, sharing and adaptation with attribution. App terms and membership restrictions do not limit those licensed rights. See music credits and unrestricted downloads. Other source recordings retain their credited licenses. Membership availability

Membership offers monthly or yearly billing for the same benefits in store-enabled builds. Only features explicitly listed in the purchase screen are included; future features are not a promise of availability.

What membership includes

Membership unlocks 30- and 60-minute listening, the full 28-evening guided plan, detailed weekly listening patterns and an optional next-step suggestion. Both billing plans include all member features. All seventeen sounds with a 15-minute timer, the short ritual, basic bedtime settings, optional reminders and personal records remain free. There is no daily limit on free sessions.

Trials and recurring payments

The store purchase screen shows your localized price, billing period and any eligible free trial before confirmation. A yearly plan charges the full annual price at once. A free trial converts to the displayed paid subscription unless cancelled according to the store's terms. Trial eligibility is determined by the store and is not guaranteed for every user.

Manage, cancel and restore

For purchases made through Apple or Google Play, use that platform's subscription settings to manage or cancel your subscription. Follow the cancellation deadline shown by the platform. Deleting the app or resetting its data does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests follow the store's procedures and applicable rights. Restore purchases uses your original store account; cross-platform restoration is not currently offered.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app usable, but notification delivery depends on device settings and operating-system behavior. We may update these terms and will disclose material changes where required. These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law. For the iOS app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
